Turrets
Your personal bodyguards.
Defending a base on your own can get tiring. That's where a turret comes in handy. Turrets will defend you from any and all dangers – puppets, vehicles, sentries and of course other prisoners. Turrets can damage their owner and each other, so be careful how they are positioned. Turrets can only be placed inside a flags range and a maximum of 3 can be built at a time. To fill the turret, drag the appropriate ammunition onto the turret icon in the vicinity or through the context menu option Fill Ammo.

Activating A Turret
After crafting a turret, it needs two more things: ammunition and electricity from a generator. To remind yourself which ammunition and how much electricity a turret consumes, check its description. With the turret full of ammunition and in range of electricity it can now be turned on by holding [F] on it and selecting Turn on.
