Schiefer Schillerporling
Inonotus obliquus ist ein Pilz aus der Familie der Hymenochaetaceae, der auf Birken und anderen Bäumen parasitiert. Sein steriler Auswuchs ist unregelmäßig geformt und erinnert an verbrannte Holzkohle. Es ist nicht der Fruchtkörper des Pilzes, sondern ein Sklerotium bzw. eine Myzelmasse, die wegen der enormen Mengen an Melanin überwiegend schwarz ist. Er kann giftig sein; Verzehr auf eigene Gefahr.
