以俄羅斯 7.62×39mm 子彈為藍本，但將殼頸擴大，使其能容納一枚 9mm（.356 口徑）彈頭。其開發目的是為特種部隊的消音槍械提供一款次音速彈藥，威力、射程與穿透力皆優於手槍彈及部分步槍彈。此為曳光彈版本。可搭配 AS Val、VSS 與簡易步槍使用。
