.357彈由數人於1930年代初至中期共同研發，是對.38的直接回應。當時，.38 Super是唯一能擊穿汽車車身和一戰後"黑幫時代"初現的早期防彈背心的美國手槍彈。這是曳光彈版本。Used in: DEagle .357, Viper M357, Serpent 357, Peacekeeper 38, and Improvised Handgun.
