Upgrading Base Elements

Create an impenetrable fortress.

Upgrading your base is essential to creating your forever home. An upgraded base will protect you and your precious loot against anyone who dares to try and enter.

Upgrading An Element

All modular base elements start as twig, but they can be upgraded further. The available upgrades for modular elements are:Wood, Metal, Brick, and Cement. Modular doors can be upgraded at best to Reinforced. Some general base elements start at wood and can be upgraded to metal. Each upgrade has more HP than the previous one, making it harder to demolish for enemy players trying to enter and destroy your base. Upgrade elements by holding [F] on them and choosing the "Upgrade" interaction. By increasing your Engineering skill you will require less materials to build and upgrade your elements.
