Modular and General Base Building Elements

It's like building with Legos!

To build a base there are 2 variations of elements: GENERAL and MODULAR. Both have their benefits and its up to you to use them to their full potential and create the best base to hold off raiders or to create an architectural masterpiece!

Modular Base Elements

Modular base elements are elements which snap together when being placed on existing modular elements. Modular base elements are showcased in the modular base building elements tab in the base building crafting section which can be accessed with [Shift + C]. The basis of a modular base are foundations onto which you snap walls, door frames, stairs, and other elements.

General Base Elements

General base elements are elements which are mostly used to fortify, decorate, and encompass the modular base. Those elements can be placed anywhere in the range of the flag and don't have to be snapped onto foundations. General base elements are showcased in the general base building elements tab in the base building crafting section, which can be accessed with [Shift + C]. The wooden wall is a type of wall that can be used to enclose your base. The wooden wall does not need to be snapped to anything and can be resized during placement. This wall can be snapped to other existing wooden walls. Press [F] to pick a starting point, move the mouse to expand the wall, and press [F] again to pick the ending point.
