Flags

Claim your own piece of land!

If you don’t like the look of any of the houses on The Island, you can build your own base exactly to your needs and liking. All you need is a flag, some base elements. and creativity!

Placing A Flag

The first thing you need to do is place and craft a flag blueprint. After crafting a flag, you can press [F] on the flag to see its range. You can only build your base inside the range of the flag. IMPORTANT- By default only ONE flag can be placed per player. IMPORTANT- A flag CANNOT be moved once placed.

Base Element Limit

There is a limit on the number of elements that can be placed in a flag area. To increase that number you can buy expansion kits at any general goods store. Some base elements like the Well or Garden have limitations on how many of them can be placed inside a singular flag area. There can only be one of each in a single flag area.
