Farming

Grow your own produce!

Why does it always have to be "rob this", "kill that"? Sometimes all it takes is a nice garden to plant some fruits, vegetables, or other substances and enjoy the easy life.

Planting And Cultivating

To build a functioning garden, a couple of things are needed: a garden plot, seeds, sunlight, and water! Seeds can be found either by looting barns and houses, extracting them from fruits and vegetables, or buying them from a trader. After building a garden, take the seed you want to plant in your hands, target a tile on the garden, and press [F] to plant the seed. With the seed planted, it needs to be regularly watered. A WATERING CAN is really useful here, but any container with water should do. Urinating on the plant will also water it. Fertilizers can be used to increase growth speed and crop yield. To see the status of each plant, hold [Right click] to enter focus mode while looking at the tile with the planted seed.

Plant Stages

Plants go through multiple stages before they’re ripe enough to be harvested:

The plant needs enough sunlight and water to move on to the next stage.

Weed, Pests and Diseases

Weeds can occasionally start growing on any of your garden tiles, and if not dealt with, they will spread to other plants and stop their growth. Weeds can be removed by hand, with a hoe, or using weed repellent. The repellent prevents weeds from growing back for a while. Pests and diseases can also occasionally appear on specific plants, slowing growth by 50%. To keep your plant alive, treat it with pesticides or fungicides—otherwise, it'll wither away in 10 days.
