Equipment

Time to get geared up!

Being well-equipped for any situation is crucial for survival and progression on The Island! With a vast amount of clothing and equipment items, one can be sure that they will manage to gather the best set of gear for each situation! Inventory works on a grid system with each item being of a certain size. Different equipment has different inventory sizes, so be sure to try out a lot of combinations.

Item Rotation

Not all items fit perfectly as you try to place them; some need to be rotated to slot into the inventory. To rotate an item, hold [Ctrl] and use [Scroll up] to rotate the item clockwise or [Scroll down] to rotate it counter-clockwise while you're holding the item over the inventory.

Maximum Contained Weight

Each piece of gear has a maximum contained weight which it cannot exceed. The amount each clothing item can hold is shown in the top right corner of the equipment slot. Even if it may seem that an piece of gear has space for more items, it might've reached its weight cap so it can't hold anything else.
