Crafting Items

Tools, weapons and more!

Crafting items is one of the main tools used for surviving The Island. There is a varaiety of items that can prove very useful ranging from improvised weapons like knives or bows to deadly C4 bombs.

How To Craft

First, navigate to the crafting tab. It is accessed by pressing [Tab] and clicking on it on the top of your screen or by pressing [2]. The shortcut for the following is [Shift + C]. Craftable items are represented in 3 different background colors:

Select an item with no background, and press NEXT. On the recipe screen, there is a detailed description of each item, as well as the list of the needed components. When any of the components are selected, a list of each component that can be used is shown as well as the exact needed number of each component. All the needed components are automatically selected, but they can be unselected manually if there is a need to select others items.

When the appropriate components are selected, press the CRAFT button. If there is enough components, the action can be repeated with the following shortcut even outside of the Crafting Tab - [Alt + C]. If you wish to craft the maximum number of available items, use the AUTO-CRAFT button.
