Lingzhi Mushroom
A polypore mushroom, soft when fresh, corky and flat, marked by a striking kidney-shaped, red-varnished cap and underside pores ranging from white to dull brown with age. It has no gills and discharges spores through fine pores, hence its polypore classification. It may be poisonous; eat at your own risk.
