AT4 HEAT
The AT-4 is a recoilless, single-shot 84mm launcher fired from the shoulder. As a light, throwaway, hand-carried weapon aimed at armor and fortifications, it represents a modern approach. It works well against lightly armored vehicles yet does nothing against heavy armor or fortifications. Its high-explosive anti-tank (HEAT) warhead holds a shaped charge built to pierce armor, though it loses effectiveness over a wide area.
