AK-15
The AK-15 is basically an AK-12 rechambered for 7.62x39mm ammunition, which offers greater penetration and stopping power than 5.45x39mm or standard 5.56x45mm rounds. The 7.62x39mm cartridge remains in use by military and law enforcement forces and is widespread worldwide, with some operators favoring it; a standard 7.62x51mm variant was also planned. The weapon additionally features better balance and improved ergonomics.
