9x39mm Ammo
It takes the Russian 7.62×39 mm round as its starting point but widens the neck so it can hold a 9mm (.356 caliber) bullet. The goal was a subsonic cartridge for the suppressed weapons of special forces units, offering greater power, range and penetration than pistol rounds and some rifle cartridges. Used in: AS Val, VSS, and Improvised Rifle.
