The Cal .30-06 cartridge entered use in 1906 and was standardized afterward, staying in service until the early 1980s. It was conceived at a time when engagements at 1,000 yards (914.4 m) were anticipated. This is an Armor Piercing variant. Compatible with the M1 Rifle, Carbon Hunter and Improvised Rifle.
